IT Support Technician

Job Description Providing the necessary technical and technical support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the systems and technologies used in the company, and contributing to the development and improvement of technical solutions that support achieving business objectives. The role requires the ability to interact with different teams and address technical issues quickly and professionally. Main Responsibilities and Tasks - Providing daily technical support to company employees to resolve technical problems related to hardware and software, tracking and documenting technical failures, and working to resolve them as soon as possible. - Maintaining and updating hardware and software to ensure optimal performance, ensuring the safety of internal networks, and the effectiveness of protection and security tools. - Preparing and installing computers, printers, and smart devices and connecting them to networks, ensuring that technical devices are ready for use in meetings, workshops, or activities. - Contributing to the evaluation and suggestion of solutions to improve the technical infrastructure, applying continuous updates and developments to the approved systems and programs. - Organizing and protecting data through backup systems periodically, ensuring data recovery in case of any malfunction or loss. - Being present to inform employees about using new systems and software, and providing technical guidance in a simple and smooth manner. - Preparing and updating documentation files for technical settings and support procedures, recording updates and common problems and their solutions within the technical knowledge base. - Coordinating with service provider companies when needed for maintenance or updates, in addition to monitoring technical contracts and ensuring compliance with support commitments. - Contributing to the implementation of technical projects such as digital transformation or the development of electronic platforms, and providing technical feedback to ensure the compatibility of technical solutions with business needs. - Using the necessary tools to monitor system performance and analyze usage indicators, and providing periodic reports on the status of systems and suggesting technical improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

As an IT Technician at EJTech, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our technical infrastructure, ensuring that our operations run smoothly. This role requires a technical skill set in both UTP and fiber cable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with UTP and fiber cables (CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, fiber MM, fiber SM).
• Bunch, terminate, and test UTP cables.
• Install trunks, ducts, flex pipes, and EMT pipes.
• Utilize equipment such as Fluke testers, Fusion splicers, and OTDRs.
• Perform fiber optic testing and troubleshooting.
• Understand technical aspects of loss and attenuation in fiber optic systems.

Technical Skills Required:

• Basic computer skills, especially in Excel and web navigation.
• Understanding of basic electricity principles related to telecommunications.
• Experience with electric power measurement instruments.
• Proficient with hand and electric power tools.
• Installation and management of equipment like switches, routers, and cameras.

Other Skills:

• Flexibility to work various schedules including on-call, overnight, and weekend duties.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical capability to lift and move 50 Kg.
• Valid Saudi driver's license is required.
• Fair proficiency in English is important.
