- Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost management
- Set departmental targets, objectives, and work schedules
- Inspect all fixtures and fittings to ensure compliance with standards
- Monitor the performance of the housekeeping/laundry team, emphasizing training and teamwork
- Maintain good communication with all hotel areas and external customers
- Manage staff performance and recruit, train, and develop the team
