Job Summary:

The Customs Clearance Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing all customs clearance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, timely cargo release, and smooth port operations. This role requires strong coordination, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to facilitate the import and export process efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Shipment Arrivals & Coordinate Documentation
• Track and monitor shipment status and ETAs.
• Arrange and retrieve required shipping documents.
• Verify customs clearance information to ensure timely port arrival.
• Scrutinize & Manage Clearance Documents
• Review and validate all customs clearance documents.
• Prepare accurate customs declarations.
• Archive clearance documents systematically for compliance and records management.
• Oversee Clearance Process & Cargo Release
• Prepare container clearance materials and advance clearance procedures.
• Monitor the progress of customs clearance and take prompt action when issues arise.
• Resolve Customs Issues
• Support in resolving declaration discrepancies, including rejections, suspensions, and inspections.
• Ensure smooth declaration processing and clearance efficiency.
• Liaise for Product Compliance
• Collaborate with the domestic certification department.
• Provide technical explanations based on customs and product requirements to support certification and cargo clearance.
• Other Duties
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

·         Proficiency in English (written & spoken).

·         Knowledge of Arabic is preferred.

·         Strong computer skills (MS Office, clearance platforms, and related systems).

·         Prior experience in customs clearance or a similar logistics/shipping role.

ملخص الوظيفة:

أخصائي التخليص الجمركي مسؤول عن إدارة ومتابعة جميع أنشطة التخليص الجمركي، وضمان الالتزام بالأنظمة، والإفراج عن البضائع في الوقت المحدد، وضمان سير العمليات في الميناء بسلاسة. يتطلب هذا الدور قدرة عالية على التنسيق وحل المشكلات والانتباه للتفاصيل لتسهيل عمليات الاستيراد والتصدير بكفاءة.

المهام الوظيفية:

• متابعة وصول الشحنات وتنسيق المستندات
• متابعة حالة الشحنات ومواعيد الوصول المتوقعة.
• ترتيب واستلام المستندات المطلوبة للشحن.
• التحقق من معلومات التخليص الجمركي لضمان وصول الشحنات في الوقت المحدد.
• مراجعة وإدارة مستندات التخليص
• مراجعة واعتماد جميع مستندات التخليص الجمركي.
• إعداد بيانات جمركية دقيقة.
• أرشفة مستندات التخليص بشكل منظم لضمان الامتثال وحفظ السجلات.
• الإشراف على عملية التخليص وإصدار البضائع
• إعداد مستندات التخليص الخاصة بالحاويات ومتابعة إجراءات التخليص.
• مراقبة سير عملية التخليص الجمركي والتعامل الفوري مع أي مستجدات.
• حل المشكلات الجمركية
• المساهمة في حل أي فروقات أو مشكلات في البيانات الجمركية بما في ذلك الرفض أو التعليق أو الفحص الفعلي.
• ضمان انسيابية عملية التخليص الجمركي بكفاءة.
• التنسيق لضمان مطابقة المنتجات
• التعاون مع قسم الشهادات المحلي.
• تقديم التوضيحات الفنية المطلوبة وفق متطلبات التخليص والمنتجات لدعم إصدار الشهادات وتسهيل عملية التخليص.
• مهام أخرى
• تنفيذ أي مهام إضافية يوجه بها المشرف المباشر.

المؤهلات والمتطلبات:

• إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية (قراءة وكتابة ومحادثة).
• يفضل الإلمام باللغة العربية.
• مهارات قوية في الحاسب الآلي (MS Office، منصات التخليص، والأنظمة ذات الصلة).
• خبرة سابقة في مجال التخليص الجمركي أو في مجال مشابه بالنقل والشحن.
