Wood is seeking a talented and experienced Cost Engineer for an exciting opportunity within our oil and gas projects. As a vital member of our team, you will support project execution through effective cost management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, issue, and maintain Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).
  • Liaise with different project disciplines to assist in the development of project budgets and ensure accurate cost capture.
  • Maintain awareness of project activities and their impact on budget, schedule, and forecasting.
  • Monitor and control cost commitments and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and provide project cost performance reports as required.
  • Participate in cost & estimate risk analysis sessions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline or equivalent vocational training.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant cost experience is required.
  • Proficient in cost management software and concepts.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and cost management practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Certifications like MRICS, CCP, or PMP are preferred.
